DUNEDIN, FLORIDA: Floral Computer Systems has released a system for portable handheld devices that provides truck drivers with customer orders in delivery route sequence. This new SMARTtruck™ product produces customer sales orders, allows changes to orders, type of payment, payment amount, customer signature and a printed invoice for the customer. Customer sales history, off-route customers and sales notes are also included to simplify delivery activity for a driver.
The SMARTtruck™ handheld device integrates with the SMARTSale™ System, adjusting inventory in real-time so that the wholesaler has complete inventory control and knows exactly what is going on in the sales area. In addition, the SMARTSale™ System alerts the wholesaler to what needs to be purchased, handles purchase orders, sales orders and invoicing, labeling, and other key functions to improve efficiency and management control.
